Chaperones
Beginning immediately at all RCMEA Festivals, the following rules will be
in effect:
- Each district will
supply a minimum of one chaperone for each 30 students at Intermediate
and Junior Festivals, and one chaperone for each participating school
at the Senior Festival.
- Chaperones must be
designated in advance, and must agree to chaperone the students. (Just
because a teacher from your district is attending does not mean they
will chaperone your students)
- Teachers directly
involved in Festival management (RCMEA Officers, Chair people, etc.)
will not be considered as chaperones without prior approval of the
RCMEA Executive Council.
- Designated
chaperones will report to Registration upon arrival at the Festival to
check-in.
